Couple layers down inside, I saw the future, knew the truth.

I spun around quick, and before they could disappear, my friends of layer x tried to shut off their grins before they vanished into mist.

Just one of those days on the edge of night, where evening haunts the dawn over a little sway in time.

I dove hard, felt eternal foundation creaking with the horror that many, awakening, prepared for some rebuilding.

ReExistence Now they called it, and sent out cards, sheets of photons inlaid with thin chunks chipped off cold black holes.

I picked up my hammer, its handle molded to my palm like warm clay.

Time for a little work on the edge of night, where I haunt the dawn over my little sway in time.
