"The rehabilitation of that art-ability of a culture is a tremendously valid undertaking, and will repay a culture a thousand times over for any effort made in that direction"
L. Ron Hubbard. From "Science of Survival" published by New Era Publications International. ISBN 877816-899-6
Brief Bio
I have a University Degree. The Humanities, thats History, art history, music, English Literature, philosophy. I specialize in Art History. I am a competent tour guide and offer a service to anyone who wants to know more about art, either a specific artist/s or specific periods of art. I deliver a tour at the National Gallery, half day or full day. I do it in layman's terms for the layman. No academic high flying academic gobble de gook. I tell things you wont find in the books you buy in the shops or on the plaque next to a painting hanging on the wall. Example: Up until 1840 artists worked in doors. Might sketch out doors but paintings were painted up indoors. Then in 1840 that changed. Artists could now work out of doors. What changed? Well come on a tour and I will tell you what it was and the effect it created.

"Sussex Downs" reminds me of driving towards Polperrot in Cornwall. Simply beautiful like your painting.

Hulking on a wind blown sidewalkcorner off a street wet with fallenmist, I peer toward towers of steel, concrete, and glass panels where,in the day, so many workAnd I wonder...beyond those highskyscraping monoliths, deep intothe next over layer of reality, what goes there...beyond aglistening peakSurely it must be the dream, thethought, the magic inception pulsepainting there a scene into whichso many climb to play this localgame of lifeThus in spirit armed, I peerfarther, as chills haunt like…See More

New Rhinoceros Children's Book

I've been having a great year and creating lots of new things with Jenny. Over Christmas I was missing my guy Jack, so I wrote a book for him, then Jenny illustrated it. It's called The Toughskin Rhinoceros Wrangler Company. It's a simple story about the lengths we are willing to go to to see the people we miss. And there are dancing rhinoceroses. Here's some of Jenny's art…See More

The Threshold Bookcast : Chapter 13 : Keys To Ascension

Chapter 13 : Keys To AscensionRahu Lüli, the teenage monk from Kõrgus, is once again the central character of the weekly instalment of the Threshold Bookcast. This time, we find the novice reminiscing as he explores unknown territory uphill, following a hunch that has occurred to him prior to the morning ritual. « « Gazing up, the apprentice had detected an odd detail. Something was decidedly wrong about the view, and it couldn't but have a meaning. Over the years, the pitch black walls of…See More

Art is my World

During my earliest year in Elementary School, the only hobby that steals my time is sketching on my notebook. While my teacher is discussing and writing on the board, I am in my chair at the back busy in sketching. In that time I believed that learning could not be taken only from school, and knowledge is not only about speaking and writing but also drawing. My mother exasperated every time she checks my notebook because what she found was not my homework but those faces of my favorite anime like…See More
