Brief Bio
I’m a writer/photographer/graphic artist/poet. I write poetry as Emit Levart and won 2nd prize in the 25th anniversary edition of the BRAVURA literary magazine with my first submission. I also won a Student Emmy and Best of Show at the San Diego County Fair for SALES PITCH, a short comedy film that I wrote, co-directed and acted in. A series of my photo art won an Art Day card competition.
I also designed posters used at the Glendale Galleria on Art Day; and a promo for a writer’s event at Celebrity Centre. I’m currently learning how to make websites to promote my photos, etc. I recently compiled a poetry book called HUMAN SUITS that I submitted to a contest. Also, I’m writing a series of picture books.
“To use simplicity, beauty and a touch of humor to bring people to a more spiritual perspective,” is my artistic purpose.
