- Having been playing since the age of nine, with a passion in jazz passed down from his family, even the numerous cover bands he played in as a teenager, were stamped with an indellible style of improv, energy, and tone. Most notably, in his many years of performing, was his teaming with Junior's Wailin', in 1995, and in three short years transforming the band into one of the regions most formidable, roadhouse, heavy country and southern picking bands, culminating with their premier album, " Bootleg 'Wailin'. Since then, Michael has been involved in various projects with two local universities, as well as working and writing in his studio, in the flats of the Fox Valley.
