Brief Bio
Born in India but lived away for 30 years in Lagos, Nigeria, Dubai, United Arab Emirates and now Canada. Consider myself a global citizen and will do anything to bring about world peace. Yoga teacher, journalist/writer, poet and artist. Have a certificate in Fine Art from Sheridan College and have had about 12 solo and joint art exhibitions within Ontario. Paint all subjects in acrylic, oils and mixed media. My favourite work is to design and custom make art for people's homes and offices.

The Cat and the Buddha

He sits by the brass Buddha
In an apartment in Washington D.C.
What does he think?
Are they linked by some past life?
Every day the bond is renewed
Is it my imagination
Or do I see the Buddha glow
Do I see an aura surround the cat?
What is this strange synergy?
I take up my camera and click
I try and capture the intensity
When I reach home
I pick up my brushes and paint
Some strange electricity
Filters through my fingers
Its like I'm possessed
