My mind was a vat full of pictures and dreams,
And I worked hard to make them my future, it seems
That the way I envisioned my life was to be,
I created myself and became what is me!

I'm glad that it worked out the way that I wanted,
Because I could reach through the face of undaunted
Opposing realities - and what they taunted!

Very well,
Though certain things were said
Untrue
To try and change history.

Time alters ideas
If you don't write them down

They had crossed paths
So many times
And even while recognition
Prevailed,
It was not the proper moment.
