Peachy Impeachment

Ants took up residence in some robust peaches.
All spaces were occupied by Ants.
Peach tenants’ enterprise slide view.
Astonished that I would pick “their fruits.”
How did they get up here I mused.
Why were these most luscious peach selected?

Poachers displaying bits of juicy peachy bites.
Accidentally they scamper down my halter topside.
How was I going to cope with this outrageous pickle?
Densely colonized ants surfacing now and then.
Ants wriggling around and abreast surely was no fun.
Ants madly prancing in circles in my a lady's bossom.

Neighbors pressed against the fence;
Shouting “careful please do not fall”
Lady, can I help you pick some peaches,
“Come down take care my ego was about to escape?
Well, embarrassment broke my wondering psyche.
I have to change my fruit picking ladder pose .

Firstly, I contemplated how not to disappear.
“Please lady do not fall,”
Here look take my hand!”
“Look you come down!”
I will pick the basket of peaches,” said he.
Another voice appeared from across the road.

Listen in the mean time I am contemplating.
Bees as well draw nectar form these peaches.
Please no more helpers I would not have any peaches left.
Thanks giving day for me lady bugs were not around.
Here, I am surrounded by mentally challenged ants.
I could not continue breathing none were in my shorts.

I realized ants were no danger as screaming well wishers were.
Ants were not the biting kind nor did I spray the tree.
Except they tickled as they pranced up and down, and round about.
Ants exploring such warmth of upper torso then down both arms.
Repeat no time to contemplate I moved off the ladder ran into the house.
Got it! The ants were then cut off from their military exercises.

I handed out selected peaches in buckets, bowls and baskets.
To each of the inquiring helping neighbors as they cheer.
Friends enjoyed their peach pies, peach drinks and mouth watering slurps.
Toastmasters Members each collapsed when I entered this Peach & Ants Affair.
Toastmasters Humorous Contest at the District L.Contest.
This event came third at the District competition.

My Naked Tale (stop laughing)

I remember running naked in rainy seasons.
As I run through Trinidad heavy rain falls.
As naked as a fish from age two no questions.

Here I am at sixty eight marveling at freezing rain.
I can't run naked out here in Canada child pornography.
I booth up my computer words are flying out.

Trinidad & Tobago Rainy day Innocence.

I am poised to read another of my poems.
My smile fits those tender soft tropical fruits.
I can hardly hear any rain drops in Canada.

Asphalt Shingles insulation soften drops.
Rain drops noises squirreled away.
No fun listening to high blood pressure pulse.

I listen to raining criticism known as feed backs.
Oh how I wish I can tell my naked rainy tale.
Of children covered skins with rain drops bubbles .

My ancient memory laughs as I recall.
Children excitedly laughing in the rain.
Poem titled Innocent Rainy Shower Baths.

Picture as I read my passionate poems.
I must add one about Grand ma's witty laughs.
Grand ma's Marble Games under Showering rain.

This is wonderful verse on reincarnation but you know that Jonah was returned. I guess it depends on the appetite of the sea creatures. You are filled with the wisdom of ancient seamen. Please let me know what you think of my poems.

The Epitaph

I am an old sailor, and writer.
I have written about the sea, for fifty years.
I have not studied her.
She has studied me.
She has pressed her face, against my face.
She has mixed her salt, with the salt of my brow.
We have broken bread together.
We have tasted each other's blood,
and now it is time
to give myself to her.

It is my wish, that I be buried in the sea.

On a calm winter day
when the dew clings to the wing of a gull
and the sky forms a gray wall, into the horizon
let my body slip, from the bow of a ship
that all the fishes below, may see
this descendant from another world.

Clothe me only, in a dark weathered sail.
Release me please
in the sight of a whale
that I may be born
again.
