Damian Perkins is a true renaissance artist and carries an impressive legacy.

He has starred on Broadway in such hits as RENT and AIDA; guest-starred on many hit television program and has over 20 National Commercials to his credit.

He has worked as an actor and a producer in substantial capacities in both independent and studio films, he has given over 2000 live stage performances and has performed and been interviewed on many national talk show.

He has directed over 30 productions and as a teacher has trained young actors, singers and dancers for over 16 years.

Finally, he is also a fine artist and his work is owned by private collectors throughout Japan, Canada, and the US.

Damian also feels a strong love for his fellow man, and has disseminated to hundreds of people on subjects of drug education, study technology and increasing one's own responsibility to help others as an artist.

At 17 he was choreographer and lead performer for the legendary out-reach group, Kids On Stage For A Better World, and co-created another children's musical theater group called Steppin' Out". He has been a spokesperson for The Drug-free Marshals, The Way to Happiness Foundation, Equity Fights AIDS, and LA AIDS Project. He is also a commissioner for the Citizen’s Commission for Human Rights, spreading the word about psychiatric abuses, and has worked with many under-privileged and abused children and homeless organizations. All in all this has led to his greatest pride and joy: helping others!

On October 11, 2008, Damian was honored with the 2008 Artists For A Better World International OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION AS AN ARTIST Award "For outstanding contribution of your art and creative abilities towards the creation of a better world through dedicated service as a community volunteer" at Celebrity Centre International, in Hollywood, CA, as part of the AFABW Awards Event & Concert.
