"The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark." - Michelangelo
Brief Bio
Ana was born and raised on an island in western Washington State. She started demonstrating her native talent at the age of five and completed her first painting at six. Her grandmother was a professional artist so Ana was afforded access to this studio and its supplies at a young age. Over the next decade she exhibited in numerous fairs, festivals, banks and galleries in addition to one-person showings.

After leaving home at 18, she traveled for several years and then returned to settle in downtown Seattle. It was during this period that she also collaborated on 3 large exterior murals in that city.

“With my fine art on canvas I paint in the realistic style reminiscent of the Masters of the High Renaissance. With each piece I strive to uplift and to bring elegant and noble artwork to my clients. My current series highlights and immortalizes the great ancient cultures of Italy and Greece; these augment my personal mission of bringing about a rebirth of classical technique which will, in turn, bring about positive change in our present day culture.

"It is my viewpoint that since art has such a unique and key role in our society that this responsibility can not be abused or ignored or left for someone else to address. My goal with not only my art, but with all my upcoming artistic projects involving others, is to enrich the society – to raise one person at a time and as an end result, the civilization as a whole. I see this as the higher intrinsic responsibility of artists.”

She adds, “This is reflected in a very applicable quote from Michelangelo: ‘The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark’.

"There is nothing wrong with art that expresses one’s feelings or brings awareness to issues, but I also feel there must be solutions or at least a ray of hope and understanding offered into that area of life. Artists of any field have an undeniable responsibility with regard to the state of mankind as their voice is broad and impacts all peoples of Earth. Art is, in essence, communication. As an artist, your true greatness lies only in what you choose to communicate or to bring to life.

"My driving basic purpose in life is to advocate and support the alliance of great artists, creators, and educators of Earth, all being united in the common purpose of propelling Mankind to greater heights and thereby heralding in a New Cultural Renaissance. I welcome your assistance."

Ana please enjoy this poem

Ancient Chants

If one can truly listen
Thay can hear the sound
Of more than their own voice
Know when to be quiet.
To pick up on sensations
That are only perceptible
At a moment in time
When time seems to stand still.
Not to hear a pindrop
But to be in the presence
Of a far greater occurrence
When one can hear an inaudible life form.
If they are in touch with
A transparent root
An invisible filament
Provides light to a knowing core.
To come out of the darkness
Then perceive higher contact
With those beyond the border
Of a man made fence.
This takes an outlook
That has no boundaries
To experience the endless possibilities
When one thinks outside the box.
Life is limitless
In its scope and spectacles
We are born with more than what we know
We are all part of one sea.
As we're part of one forest
One sky and one earth
No one exists alone
Unless they choose to shut themself off.
My hand is a petal
Or a branch
My ears are like mountains
Or a running stream.
My eyes are like the stars
I absorb the sparkles
We are one and the same
Endowed with a sight from ancient chants.

Ana Please read this poem as I believe this captures the essence of what you are speaking about . The earth is a living and breathing organism with consciousness.

INNER EARTH RISING

When I climbed that volcano
As I reached the summit
Did a meditation for Pachamama
Sending light through to her core.
Here was a vortex or thin space
Intention was magnified
There was an acceptance
Spheres became intertwined.
Was a surge in vibration
Inner earth was rising
Almost felt like thunder
Was an expression of gratitude.
Came from deep within
Like a key had unlocked
Enabling to resurface
For a story to be told.
Which had been kept in recesses
With a natural affinity
A want to open its bud
Without the means to pollenate.
That was then, this is now
In a matter of moments
Conditions became favourable
With a plethora of honey bees.
As well as humming birds
So released to the winds
The seeds have been sewn
All life reaps enhanced vision.
As I sat on the stone
Felt the life course through me fully
Shooting up to the atmosphere
Then encircling all portals.
The chakras have been cleansed
Meridians have found their oasis
Wisdom caresses the temples
Parched mouth again tastes nectar.
Words long not spoken
Travel freely on a breeze
For selah be unencumbered
My entity evolves and flourishes.

This is great, Sharon. There's no void of down-toned comm on our planet today. You make a great point about creating "good effects", not only in our art, but in our lives as we lead them. That is what Ron says in Route To Infinity- just being a bea…

Your verses leave me detached, suspended in the silence of me. And then the endless contemplations of "what if" so much beauty could fill the spaces of us all.
