I look upon the empty page as a potential universe to create. There will be spaces, energies, times and matter; there will be people, emotions, ideas and other notions.
On the page I am God. I decide where the action goes, or stops; I make the changes...and the decisions of what is to be.
Sometimes my creative flow has moved so fast I have sat back and marveled at the dialogue, wondering where the next line will take us - me, my characters and my story.
Sold or not, no one can take away from me the pure pleasure of the process of my writing creatively. Yet, the satisfaction of watching a reader really "get" what I meant gives me the sense that I have completed my job...and accomplished my purpose of giving happiness, purpose and bits of truth to others.

Phillip,
Thanks for your cognition. We are a race unto ourselves. I know that I said that before. But your comment requires that I say it again. It is we, the artists of this planet, who must step up to our responsibility to lead again. That's the way it was in the old days in Wales and Ireland and many other lost civilizations. But we have fallen from graces because we have not stayed true to our purposes. A poet or writer or painter or muscian can only be shot when he ceases to be. And together we become a mighty force that can move mountains and swell seas and stir passions like no one else. And I am feeling the same as you from our new found refuge- this new Parnassus.

since joining this group i feel my visionary and imagination has been enhanced ten fold, its great to be able to discuss the arts with like minded people no matter race, creed, religeon or age we are all here to bear our souls and share our creations with an unknowing, perverse world of tehcnological values and wealth driven goals unseeing and bypassing the beauty we all see in the world.

It is a lie to think there is any privacy, for we - especially Artists - can see right through any thing and any body...creatively.
PaxAngelicus Compliment by PaxAngelicus on June 4, 2009 at 6:02am
i'm praying that this group won't pose any discrimination on race, gender and personal background...as artists...we see each other as transparent individuals capable of communicating life's realities, visions...and emotions....beyond the boundaries.
