Community Involvement Day
As a Poetess I am invited.
Participation is important.
Little tites listen and fidget.
Performance on demand.
With microphone tested.
I am cued to start my readings.

Funny I read my first poem.
Applause fade away.
Again I am cued curtain!
Observe little kids cued in.

Blades of grass ecology.
Something to rhyme about.
Children participation.
Tell me about the lawn.

The grass is wild but mowec.
Games are set to go.
Inflated canvas balloons out.
Even inflated baboons.

Trapeze are trampled.
Emergence vehicles.
Walk about with street foods.
Police men and women smiles.

My Community Summer gig.
Hour of Poetic diversity families.
Urban renewal sharing talents.
Toddlers rhyme as I performed.
